Construct the Framing (cont.)

NOTE: Drain 3, the drip tray drain, requires a 10″ (25.4 cm) x 10″ (25.4 cm) cutout if access from below is

available. If above-the ﬂoor access is required to make the connections, a 10″ (25.4 cm) x 16″ (40.6 cm)

cutout is required to allow access.

Make sure the ﬂooring offers adequate support for the bath, and verify that the subﬂoor is ﬂat and

level. Refer to the rough-in document for details.

The bath should be installed in an alcove installation. Construct a 2x4 or 2x6 frame in accordance

with the roughing-in information packed with the bath.

Position the plumbing according to the roughing-in information. Cap the supplies, and check for

leaks.
